A Jammin' Outtake 🎸

I've been planning for some guitar videos coming up soon and I always seem to struggle with the camera situation. But not anymore!

I'll share my secret once I figure out the science behind it but I think the perspective here is perfect. I have my old blue couch (the "Garrus couch") and then my amp w/mic, and guitars hanging off to the side. Maybe the bass guitar being plugged-in was a little extra but overall, this is the ticket!

I produced the video just as practice for the recording style. I had been recording for a little while but I was pleasantly surprised here because my tone was perfect! The sm57 is mic'd to the Marshall MG15 (no dc here!) and the room is captured separately with my xm8500. Camera is my trusty a6000.

I'm on a roll this week with other work so the guitar video I have in mind will have to wait. And thus I present this silly outtake to you! 🎸
